Jim Hickey joined Verilogue in 2007, early in the company’s history. As the first member of Verilogue’s Client Services group, Jim worked over the years to shape Verilogue’s approaches to gathering insights from conversation data and sharing them in meaningful ways. From the very beginning of his journey with Verilogue, Jim was fascinated by the company’s simple and elegant solution to the essential question “what takes place in the office visit discussion among physicians and patients?” Jim currently manages Verilogue’s group of linguists and analysts and remains a passionate advocate for the value of observational research and deep customer insights.
Jim has over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical market research and has held a variety of different positions involving qualitative and quantitative techniques. He worked at companies including Genactis, Wyeth, TargetRx and Ziment Associates. Jim holds degrees in Marketing, International Business and Russian Language from The Pennsylvania State University. At home, Jim is a loving husband and father of four beautiful children.
